Gregg has been a sea kayak guide and instructor since 1997 and an outdoor leader for several years before that. He has guided trips as far south as the “inter- coastal waterway” in Florida and has many years of guiding here in one of his favorite places – the Maine coast. He has instructed in South Carolina, Connecticut, and for many of the larger Kayak outfitters in Southern Maine. He is a Certified Open-water Sea kayak Instructor with the American Canoe Association and a Registered Maine Sea Kayak Guide. He has taught classes ranging from the Basic level introductory strokes clinics to Open water and Surf- zone classes, as well as coastal navigation GPS. When he is not in his kayak he might be found working as carpenter, a computer consultant, or he might actually be seen assuming one of his favorite roles – that of father to his teenage son.
